I'm doing 10 things
My freshman year in highschool was when I first learned about day of silence. It was lunch time and the guy in front of me had one of the cards taped to his shirt. For the rest of the day I was silent. This year, I waited for the signs to be taped up on the walls so I could join in. After waiting a few weeks I did a search online and found the website. Day of Silence had passed. That was when I realized that I couldn’t just sit around and follow the crowd. I had to stand up for my rights and for what I believe in. I fully intend to bring Day of Silence back to my high school; April 25, 2008 and I can’t wait.
