Iceland is AMAZING!
I went the summer that I was 11 years old and it just might be my favorite country I have ever been to. The views, the greenness of it all—breathtaking. It’s beautiful there. The language, also, has been kept more or less the same since the days of the vikings and Erik the Red and Leif Erikson. (Their names are something like that.)
I will warn you however: most people know that ‘Iceland is the green one’ and ‘Greenland is the icy one’, and Iceland truly is very green. However, it’s still cold! (Greenland must be colder still—yikes…) It can get really cold and my Icelandic friend Bára says that sometimes is snows in the summer.
