I did NaNoWriMo for my first time this year… and I just barely finished, but I did it! And let me tell you, it feels amazing to know that you’ve written 50,000 words in only one month. It’s really hard—especially if you’re not out of High School yet (heck, I’m still in grade 8!), but it’s possible. If anybody wants any help, feel free to ask me.

To be honest, nobody can finish becoming a better writer, but in the past-say, four-months I have improved dramatically, thanks mainly to Na(tional)No(vel)Wri(ting)Mo(nth). www.nanowrimo.org It’s in November, but there are unofficial NaNoWriMos all year round.
What also helped me was being forced to finish writing a fairly good short story in a night due to my procrastination. I had more than half of it left. I accomplished this, as well, and I think it helped me become a better writer as well.
Last Wednesday I had my first yoga lesson. I will tell you now: It was amazing! About halfway through I got this feeling of a fuzzy sort of nirvana. It was like a high (or at least, I think that’s what a high would feel like). I can’t wait to go back this week, and I can’t wait to be able to do it all by myself at home.
