Playing the drums has really been a great experience. It is a great way to relieve stress and I really connect with the music that I play along with. Plus it’s just super fun!

How I did it: I have been a musician since I was seven, and I won't pretend that wasn't extremely helpful. I don't know how long it would take a non-musician to learn. I’m ashamed to say that I haven’t been trying very hard to meet this goal. I keep finding lame excuses for not going to the gym. So, as my birthday approaches, I’m becoming more and more discouraged. I won’t be as fit as I wanted to be, but there’s still time. Let’s see how good my abs can look in six weeks…
I’m so excited! I am by no means a “good” drummer yet, but I have been improving dramatically in the last few weeks. I’ve even played with a live worship band twice at church. I am surprising myself with how well I’m doing and I find that it’s not even difficult for me to sing along.
