I went home two years in a row for the first time in almost 15 years. It felt great and as a result I have a much better sense of connection and continuity with the place and all of my loved ones who stil reside there. This is DEFINITELY worth working on.

I am happy to report that when I started looking within for answers I started not only to love myself more but also to appreciate all the people in my life MORE for who they are and LESS for what I had wanted them to be for so long. My dad is no exception and I have realized that he is great, however beautifully flawed.
I have gotten much better at this. I still have to pick and choose what’s right for me but I am much better at listening to others’ perspectives on my life and using them as teachers and guides with their own sense of wisdom. This is worth working on!
