This last week was a turning point of sorts for me on this goal. I started drinking a lot of water throughout the day and going for a walk every afternoon and evening. I only lost a pound after 5 days but feel much better. I guess it’s true, your body needs water to function properly. Walking is low impact yet gets the body moving. The stiffness that I was experiencing previously has gone and my energy level has increased noticeably. My goal weight is 280.

My Son completed this

I had hoped to complete this goal with my son but just this weekend he told me that he had already managed to accomplish it with several of his buddies. Bummer, while a big Star Wars fan like myself, I don’t think he would go through it again. He said it was pretty cool and gave him a different perspective of the series.



Archive digital photos on CD and DVD
Making some progress

I spent three days organizing and archiving my digital photos. All 4938 photos are now on CD organized by year and subject with nice labels. I made a unique label for each year that includes thumbnails of pictures on the CD for quick reference. This is very handy as one cannot always remember what events took place what year. My wife is an avid scrapbooker and has complained that since we started with digital she has had difficulty tracking down specific photos. She is quite adverse to the computer. I use photoshop elements which has the photo management feature, this makes it very easy ( if you’ve been tagging the photos) to find a photo in a matter of seconds.
