Burlesque is AWESOME! I’m training with the Scoundrelles in Brisbane, a bunch of really fun and friendly folk. We got to do our first performance as a class at the RaGTaG Revue the past week. Totally go for it!

Example:
Mr X was depressed and planned to jump off a bridge. At the last minute, he changed his mind. Why?
a) He felt better
b) He got too scared
c) He got busy
d) Some other stupid reason
...how the hell does that measure ANYTHING?!
I joined Mensa (got invited on my birthday, even) because I thought there would be opportunities to get people involved in social justice and making the world a better place.
So far it just seems to be posturing over puzzles. I already play board games weekly with a cooler group of friends.
Feh!
I have some concepts in my head but no idea how to execute them. Any suggestions?
So I applied for the Stockholm program, which starts in January. I’m still not sure if I should go just yet though, as I still have a year of university left, and nearly everyone (including the KaosPilot founder!!) thinks it’s better that I complete university first.
But university has gotten me down. I need something engaging. This is engaging.
What do I do?
I’ve got a journal book where I record ideas as they come to me. Sometimes I miss a few, but it’s always fun to see what sort of random ideas for things I come up with :)
I didn’t realize I haven’t written it here yet!
But I got a scholarship from my faculty – half off tuition for te next two years.
Yay :D
I’m on my 3rd/4th week of singing lessons and it’s so much fun! Half an hour is too short. Hopefully I’ll see some great improvements :)
After so long. And just when I thought I’d be a perpetual singleton. (Not that that would have been a bad thing, but this is amazing in its own way.)
To think he’d liked me long before I knew. To think that finally, it’s mutual.
Thank you, Mark.
I want to combine the creative arts with education and youth. Spark energy and inspiration. Explore the world.
I was talking to my best friend recently, after a long time (we were both travelling), and she told me I sounded more confident in my voice. I had just returned from a couple of amazing trips and experiences, and it looks like it shows!
Malaysia doesn’t offer many scholarships for the arts, I’m not poverty level, I’m not a Malaysian citizen anyhoo, and I’m not doing a postgrad (which is what the Aussie scholarships are for).
Argh!
