It was a hard 18 month slog but I finally finished my third short film in October last year – 6 days of filming in total and a chunk of my money but it’s a good film that holds it’s own. Completing it and being able to show people knowing that I crafted it from scratch and was the driving force behind it feels brilliant, and motivates me to do even more.

On my way – where else to start than at the top. This morning I weighed myself and was the heaviest I have every weighed in my life. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not huge, hell I’ve got some pretty nice curves, but I feel thick around the middle and I can’t seem to shift it.
This morning I was 167 pounds. HOly MOly. When I arrived in the UK 4.5 years ago I weighed 152 pounds. So I’m giving myself an allowance of 5 ‘overseas’ pounds and blame it on the British Pies and Mash culture as well as inability to run outside 8 months of the year, but that’s all – I need to get rid of the remaining 10 pounds.
Focus woman, put down that chocolate, back away from the cheese and biscuits, cut back on the wine, walk further and faster.
Keep your goal in mind. Don’t starve yourself, just pull back a bit on the treats and you’ll get there.
Dragged myself to the movies with some friends on Sunday and then dragged a girlfriend out for a bite to eat and a gossip tonight… so doing ok on this so far… slumped into a bit of avoidance earlier on in the weekend, but pulled myself back out again.
