Opening a No-Kill, Last Chance Shelter... 16 months ago

I would really love to do this, and I’ve been told a career in Veterinary Technology is a good start. Starting with an AA, and then obtaining a BS can lead to a career in hospital management, which can (hopefully) lead to shelter management, and then my own shelter. I’m in the third semester of my first year, and LOVE IT. My goal is to open a rehabilitative shelter for out-of-control and abused animals.

live without a car
I've never owned a car... 2 years ago

I do get random rides from people, but mostly I walk back and forth to work. The only thing about to cramp this goal, though, is that I went back to school – and the school is a 35-minute drive away. With no chance to move, I guess this means I have to get my license (and a darn car).
