make a to do list of five things every day
Will Try 5 days ago

I’m pretty disorganized and lack time-management skills. This goal looks pretty helpful and do-able.

Make a to-do list every day! That sounds simple enough for my brain :)

Also, because it’s only five things, I can more likely get everything done. I find that when I write to-do lists, they can go on as long as twenty-something (2*) things, making it hard to single in on and focus on one single task (redundant on purpose).

lose weight
On your marks. Get set. Go!!!! 5 days ago

I’m 5’6” and 163 lbs. By a lot of people’s standards, I’m not fat or heavy looking. In fact, as a kid, I was really overweight, but once I hit puberty, it kind of apparated off, so I’m much skinnier than I was then. Despite all of this, I would still like to loose some weight because I’m not at the point where I’m completely comfortable with myself and my body, so I think that reaching my ideal body size would be a real confidence booster. I’m small boned, so I think that 135 pounds, or 140 with muscle, would get me at that desired shape. 23/27 pounds is a lot to loose, but I figure that if I officially make it a goal, then I can actually start to reach it.

make more friends (read all 3 entries…)
Still Trying 5 days ago

bleh~~ Two months since the last entry and I’m still trying, but either I’m making absolutely no progress whatsoever or there is a small amount, but I’m just not noticing it [most likely the case].

Since there is no progress at school (the personalities of the children and myself are not very compatible), and I see no potential friends there, I am putting most of my effort into the outside world.

In another attempt to reach my goal, I’ve joined a teen center, which I usually go to once a week. I really like it there, and it helps me in more ways than one. The main goal is to get more involved in the center, seeing as how the people there and I get along well.

Taking the advice of the comment on my last entry, I have started to go to the center with a friend from school. It is a recent thing, so I cannot quite determine how it’s going and impacting our current relationship, but I do think something good may come out of it.

Even though I see no potitive changes (have lost friends but not gained any), I’m still making the effort, and if nothing happens, there is always college.
