I have cut down on my junk food intake this week. It has only been 2 days, and it has been hard, especially with boxes of chocolate cakes and biscuits leftover from christmas. But instead of eating chocolates throughout the day, I contented my self with a small piece, just for taste. And a packet of hula-hoops. Other than that I have substituded my work time snack to carrots, and grapes.
I am vegetarian, and quite fussy eater, so it’s quite hard to come up with half decent, healthy snacks. But I want to find few more different things I can eat, that might enable to have small portions at proper meals.
I also started walking to and from work again. I stopped doing it in the winter, but did it for last two days. Though today due to rain, it was the bus again. :(
And today, must do some sit-ups for the tummy toning.
I used to be fine when I was a student, and also when I had retail job. Even with my unhealthy eating habits (chocolates and junk food), and only daily walking around as excercise my weight was steady 8 stone, which I was happy with.
But for the last two years, since I have been doing office jobs, I have gained just over a stone. I have been meaning to loose it, but I hate excericse, and don’t particularly like a lot of healthy food either. But I don’t want to look fat on my holiday, so I have to do something.
But it’s a matter of finding excercise I can do everyday, which will still enable to get to work the next day. Unlike some people who feel fresh after excercise, I just feel tired, and can’t think of anything but sleeping.
Then, of course, there is the little matter of eating healthy. Hopefully, I can start, and stay on a diet, and excercise plan for 4 weeks. After all, that’s not a long time. I should be able to do it … (lots of fingers crossing here)
