How I did it: I put together a collection of poetry that I had written over the course of three years, edited it all together and self-published it with lulu.com. I'm hoping on re-publishing it with a major publisher at some point in the future. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I made sure to post something every day, even if it was a one-liner. I found that as time went on, those single sentences turned into longer ones and then whole paragraphs and eventually, quite nicely-sized posts. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Put your alarm in a place that is most difficult to get to. Also, develop a morning ritual - do things in order. I wake up, eat a quick breakfast, and read a morning meditation book. Read how I did it…

My personal experience has been solely with family members, ie: mom and dad. We’ve driven three times across the country, literally, from los angeles to charleston, south carolina. It was quite a hellish ordeal, just being in confined spaces with parents while in teenage years….
I really do think that one can grasp something greater than him or her self through this experience, so in the end, it’s worth taking.
It would probably be better to take the trip either with close friends, or complete strangers; each though, offers an entirely different sort of experience.
