We made money. We miss our home, in fact there have been times when if I could have had it back I would have. If we hadn’t had to leave that area I would say it was a mistake to sell, but given that we did… Of course if we had been able to stay we would have had to remodel and I’ve never been through that so who am I to say?
We had 18 tons of rock delivered in a truck from a local quarry.
The rock was chunky and uneven, so we carfeully stacked it battered it (leaned it into the slope it was supporting) and backfilled with roadbase.
