Every day when I wake up and am ready for the world. Even the overwhelming, and confusing, and frustrating things. I’m off of meds. I’m self-aware. And I just feel so even.

I joined the choir
I realized a big thing that was keeping me from going to Mass regularly was that I felt so disconnected. I’ve been very involved in my previous parishes, and I just wasn’t anymore. So I joined the Mass choir and it’s given me that connection I desire, and a place that I feel I belong while at Mass. And I feel useful, too.

I’ve really made some great progress on this. I’m still on meds, but a much lower dosage and I’m dealing with things that bother me in constructive ways. So I’m well on my way to kicking it to the curb and hopefully being able to keep it there.
