I am half way through my second year and I think I am really struggling. I have just have the worst teaching practice ever with the most unsupportive class teacher. Received no help and now I have to do the placement again next year. I honestly think that this teacher had something against me, I knew that I wasn’t perfect but that’s why we have placements to learn from established teachers!!!! I had started to doubt whether I am cut out to be a teacher. I refuse to give up seeing as a received an execellent report last year from the SAME school.

since moving away from home, its been pasta most nights otherwise, takeaways! i am getting pretty tired of both! i really need to learn some recipes. i really miss my mum’s cooking!
started a new part time job to earn a bit of cash while i’m studying. Met some new people who i am training with. i’ve met a a couple girls closer to my age which is really nice. one of them is from edinburgh and so has this amazing accent. i just love the scottish accent! one of the guys just happans to live in the same accomodation halls as me. met his flatmates and two of the girls are from my home town! so nice to talk to people about a place back home and for them to know exactly where you mean! bit out with them a couple of times, which has been an experience as they are completely different to the friends i have already made here, but still had a good time.
