So, I still have student loans to chip away at, but that is known as positive debt, because the return on the investment outways the cost.
I am however, thankfully through with credit card debt. That means I owe nothing on plastic. Hurray! The way to do it, make a payment plan, paying off large payments each month. Cut down on spending and try to use your ATM card to pay things or cash instead of plastic. The sense of freedom being plastic free gives you makes those short term sacrifices totally worth it.

So that´s the cheesy line a DJ uses on the Engligh language radio station here, but there´s a lot of truth to it. I am spendign a year here, and have loved practically every minute of it. This country is indeed rish, with wildlife, warm people and a laid back attitude that I missed in Boston, Mass.
If you haven´t been, definitely go, and try to enjoy those spots off the beaten path.

After 6 months in Costa Rica I would say I am so close to meeting this goal. Im now completely conversant in Spanish, and now just to work on fine tuning my grammar. I still confuse some of the conjugations, but its coming easier to me now. Full immersion in a language is definitely the way to go…
