My first was 5k was in May and it took me a little over 35 minutes and I just ran one yesterday and I did it in 29:10, so hopefully by next spring I will be able to run a 25 minutes 5k. I just have to get down to 8 minute miles, which seems impossible right now, but I just have to keep training!

I ran a 5k in May and it took me a little over 35 minutes. When I time myself now and I can do it in a little under 32 minutes. I’m going to running another race in October and would like to be under 30 minutes by then. I just need to keep my pace below 9:40 a mile. I can’t wait for the fall when it will cool down and not be so humid, I think my training will go alot better then.
It only took me like 4 years to lose the first 10 (damnit…) but I’m hoping the next five come off a lot easier. I’m thinking that once the weather starts to cool down I’ll be out running more often (I hate runnning when its hot out!). I’m going camping on the 22nd and I hope to be at around 133 by then, 3 pounds in 17 days, its possible…
