i tried out toast, a breakfast/brunch place in bucktown this past weekend. i’ve been meaning to try it out for a while, and toast did serve tasty foods. v. pretty french toast/pancake presentations (usually dusted with sugar or cinnamon) as well as good sides of sausage stuffed with apples and gouda cheese and homestyle potatoes.
my friends and i did notice one thing – servers liked to show crack…butt crack. in our hour long visit, 3 different servers honored us with views. i guess it made the whole experience more memorable though!
