I finally “talked” to my biological father for the first time last year during spring break. He had called my aunt and she called me and gave me his e-mail address. We have a pretty good relationship except I don’t think meeting him online is the same thing as meeting him in person.

It was a fairly random thing to do. I wanted a tattoo for awhile, almost got one last year but I was in Dinkytown with a friend and saw a poster for Steady Tattoo and I just walked in and decided on the spot to get my nickname on the back of my neck. It is my artist signature. And it didn’t hurt at all. Not too many people seem to not like it but whatever. It just seems that my family, my bf, and my roomate hates it.
I was shopping last week and I found the most perfect color of yarn that matches my winter hat. So I bought it and two sets of needles. I found instrustions on the yarns manufacturers website (www.lionbrand.com) on how to knit and two laters I was done!!! I went a little overboard on that fringe but it looks good. Now my mom can have her scarf back (since I have had it for three years).
