I am very near my goal with almost 40 pounds lost in the past 3.5 months. My wife has also lost about 50 pounds and is very within range of her goal. This is the lightest since before we were married and is wonderful. This really needs to be a lifestyle change to stick with this new weight, but we can do it! FYI – we used the HMR (http://www.hmrprogram.com) program and both plan to transition to sensible food within the next month and maintain!

Somebody who has never been interested in cars that buys a ‘flashy’ car at age 45 is a mid life crisis. Somebody who has always had a passion for cars that finally buys one when they can afford it when they just happen to be middle age is NOT a mid life crisis. There are sports car people and then there are regular people (or those with mid life crisis) who just drive sports cars. I’m a sports car person, always have and always will.
That may be one of the reasons I would think twice about meeting this goal. That along with the fact that some people would not consider it a good financial decision.
Still, I fully intend to have my first Ferrari by age 40 which gives me seven years. At this time it looks like the 355 is the best option, but by then I’m hoping the 360 will be at a similar price point. Assuming I can pay cash for most or all of it, trading it in after four years or so will be an option.
