So after that last entry, I didn’t pick up my guitar again for almost A YEAR. (Moving and new baby and all. I had other things on my mind.) I picked it up again about a month ago, because I wanted to play a song that my students were rehearsing in music class. I was determined, and I asked the guitar teacher who wrote the song to show me the chords. He did. I played! And I’ve been playing/practicing steadily ever since! I’ve taught myself three more songs by ear, and I am learning new chords! There’s no stopping me now!
I’ve had a Zojirushi bread maker on my wish list for a while, and it’s still there. In the meantime, a friend of mine scored for me a five dollar breadmaker at a yard sale recently. Woohoo! I still have to clean it out and everything, but homemade bread, here I come! Yay!
