How I did it: I committed myself to this goal a long time ago, at first I was 100% vegetarian but then I had a few lapses which led to more lapses. I felt guilty about them so now I don't put strict rules on myself about eating meat and somehow it took the power/temptation away from it. I will indulge occasionally but I see this as a better way of living vs. being dependent on meat, and I also make sure that when I do indulge it's from a re… Read how I did it…
How I did it: First I researched schools where I would be moving to. The ACF website was a major help. That's how I found out about apprenticeships. I found an excellent program which I had to write an essay for and go through 2 interviews. Read how I did it…
How I did it: To be honest this is something I'll always have to battle, but i'm glad I took the time to really figure out why I avoid or don't complete certain tasks. My advice is to take a long hard look at what your problem areas are and make a realistic plan to overcome your reasons for avoiding it. Starting back in about a week after a very long 4 week break. I need some practice. This semester I have clinicals and internships. I am so very blessed to have finally found an amazing career that I truly enjoy and am passionate about! Sure beats culinary school!!! Graduation is in June :)
