How many times have you seen “disaster footage” of people scrambling to get out of the way of a flood or stampede or who knows what? The ability to quickly pull up your body weight really is a matter of life and death! Do you remember the Katrina footage of all those helpless people struggling to get up to a rooftop? I need to be able to lift my body weight! So with that said, what exercises can I do to work my way up to a pull up? I see people talking about push ups (I love push ups), do those really work the right muscles? I need some guidance!
I don’t truly “decide” to dislike someone very often, but it happens sometimes; ya know how sometimes people just rub you in that wrong way that makes you bristle? Well, there have been many times when those same people that make my lip curl a bit in the beginning, have become people I genuinely like once I give them a little time.
So, I’d like to speed this process up and stop short-changing people. For every person that I think, “I just don’t like you,” I’m going to make a concerted effort to look for something that I like.
There will always be something.
