I’ve done another drawing. So far, this is going very well. Yesterday, I spent most of my free time seeking out sketches and works from one of my FAVORITE artists: Mike Weiringo. His stuff helps my creativity IMMENSELY. I’ll post the drawing when it’s done along with some past drawings.

How I did it: I got involved with at least ONE extra curricular activity. In my case, it was the marching band. Senior year, I joined choir and drama as well. Due to those 3, 98% of my friends were worthwhile people whom I could count on to help me get through ANYTHING. Especially in the case of Band: you mess with one of them, you mess with ALL of them. How I did it: My second car ever was a 1980 VW rabbit. I bought it from the guy 2 doors down from my mother in 2000. I didn't know how to drive a stick at the time. (My mom had TRIED to teach me years ago on her Geo Storm, but I kept stalling out) He made me promise that I couldn't take the car for good unless I learned how to drive a stick. For the next week, his wife took me out and we drove around the block. I picked it up pr… Read how I did it…
This came about as a new years resolution. Benn going well so far. I set up my own rules for this:
1. Weeks run from Sunday to Saturday
2. I can’t take time out and do 52 drawings all at once and count it done. That would be cheating.
Other than that, there’s no limit. I can do 70 drawings in a week, but they’d only count for that one week. Some weeks are better than others. I’ll do 3-4. But SOME weeks, I’ll be so caught up in work and family that i won’t remember until Saturday night. So far so good
I had the idea about a year ago. It came from one simple drawing. From that, I spouted a whole story in about an hour. It was so simple, I would be foolish NOT to do it. I just recently finished the FINAL drawings and scanned them in. I just need to type up the story (which is already hand written) and get it published.
