Saving money takes sacrifices. I have a very limited clothing budget, which sometimes KILLS me. But my husband helps me by letting me buy things every once in a while, and also reminding me that compared to others, I have MORE than enough clothes.

We are actually getting close to $20,000 saved and we are going to keep going so that we can buy a house some day.

I got married on July 7, 2007. I didn’t pick that date because I thought it would bring me luck or anything…it just worked out. Ok, enough about the date – I love my husband. He is what make being married what it is. Just marriage by itself – it’s nice, but it’s the person you are married to that makes it magical!! Of course it’s not always rainbows and butterflys, but even through the bad days, I know he will always love me, and he’s there for me. We didn’t go into marriage thinking that the other person was perfect, we knew that we weren’t. This has made things so much easier, when I’m upset at him and I just want to let him have it, I remember that I’m no angel either, and he has to be patient with me too.

Anyways, marriage is hard work – but totally worth it!!!
