How I did it
How to train my dog to walk on the leash and not rip my arm out
It took me
11 months
It made me
Relieved!

How I did it: I researched different teaching methods and found one that appeals to the both of us.  We don't use treats and I don't like to be aggressive with her so I found a method that is good for the both of us.  I think it mostly came down to the fact that she was finally ready to be trained, these things can't be rushed, they'll do it at their own speed. 7. Red Cross job 2 weeks ago

I’ll be there about 6 months total and I do believe I am making a difference in my community and in Northern Nevada as a whole by working in this position. We are trying to make sure everyone is prepared for disasters.

This has been a very good experience.

become an EMT
Bummer... 2 weeks ago

I saw that the college is offering a one month full time class next semester for EMT licensure. How is anyone currently employed supposed to get this training?!

So…I’ll leave this on here for now, though if this is the new trend locally I don’t see that I will be able to fulfill this goal without moving out of town.

6. Job coaching... 2 weeks ago

Is starting to become a more focused and real part of my life. I am working with people with disabilities so they may become employed.

I hope this grows into more, but for now I am so very happy with this new opportunity in my life.
