A few months ago I heard of Mifos.org, a web-app used to provide Micro Finance services to people in developing countries.
The app is open source, and if you are looking at improving your JEE skills and work on an enterprise app, I can’t think of a more rewarding task for a developer than this.
For what its worth to date my contributions to other open-source projects have been through testing, documentation and feedback whilst using software. In some cases I check out code and try to fix (or at least understand) bugs. I think that this item will be crossed off my list real soon now.

Too many words to describe – they are …
Just go and listen to them. Get freaked out by their film clips. Then start looking at the meanings. My friend, you are in for quite a trip, I promise you’ll have fun.

I find I’m more at risk of procrastinating when I see something time consuming or not able to be done immediately (something I need to complete the task is missing). If I can’t do it immediately, I develop an aversion to that task (that grows as time passes.) So the simplest tasks become much harder because I can’t get them started straight away (when I want to).
One other thing.. I spend too much time browsing the net. Just realised today that the a9.com toolbar keeps a seperate history and I saw all the websites I had been too in the last 6 months. Some days I had visited over 400 sites in a day! eek!
