How I did it: After 2010's book fair I had over 50 books (52 I guess)..I had to find a way to organize them in a way to motivate me to read them all..The key was a small trick:I organized books I bought this year into 3 piles in 2 parallel lines. In the 1st line, pile 1 for Arabic novels and literature books, pile 2 for foreign language novels and literature books, and pile 3 for other types of books. Once I finish reading any book, I move it to the… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Although 1 step is still missing, that is to paint the walls of the office, this step is not really in my hands so I'll consider this goal fulfilled since I did my part.I might consider getting a plant or so, but this is not the time. When I'm ready, I'll get it.I brought in all the little stuff I have been buying for the office.I know that every once and a while I will find something that seems nice to be in office, so I'll get it, or I'… Read how I did it…
How I did it: The problem was time, and finding like minded people with almost same interests.. Well.. The World Wide Web provided me with the solution!I joined a group on Goodreads.com, dedicated for my Favorite author Naguib Mahfouz (a reading circle). It took me a while to get used to the site and start reading regularly to post reviews on it. Shortly after, I started to engage with its groups. I realized then that this Mahfouz group is one of the l… Read how I did it…

44- To make a baby laugh.. When I hear his laugh and know that I caused it.
45- When a baby looks at me and smiles for no reason.. I remember then the old say that when a baby smiles at someone, it means this person is good, some say he goes to heaven :)
46- Mark a goal as complete on 43Things, or strikeout an item from a to-do list.
47- Surprises!
48- Having an “Aha!” moment.. In need some of those lately…
49- Making progress in my masters, or any project I’m working on.
50- Getting together with my extended family.. I’m not much of a people’s person, but I really enjoy these short gatherings with the extended family..
51- Having a long walk downtown in busy streets, makes me feel the city is alive around me.
52- When I pass people by in the street and hear bites and pieces of there conversations.. Makes me imagine the life story of each of them..
52- Hearing a really good song or piece of music that moves me deeply that I start to dance!
53- Compliments that I know are true (I know sometimes they’re being said out of hypocrisy, but I think I can identify a compliment coming out of the heart).
They say in order to find one’s self, you must lose it first, and stop searching.. This is why many start by traveling.
Well.. I decided to give it a try, only.. Backwards..
I decided to search.. To look for myself.. To get to know “me”, and What NG is all about..
I made a list of all stuff that interest me, that I love and consider to be passions of mine.. I almost forgot about these things under the constant pressure of life.. Now it’s time to get them back..
Decided to take action towards everything I love.. To find a way to participate, or at least find a community, even it if was only 1 person, that shares each interest with me. It will be like a support group, that will help me not to let go again.
It’s hard, almost impossible, to sum up a human being in a list.. But it’s a way to start.. Better than nothing, right?
