This year, we want to learn more about wine – after drinking and appreciating on a very amateur and basic level for a couple of years now, we want to:

1. Learn more about how to describe the tastes and smells (by possibly buying the “Wine Discovery” kit from L’atelier Duvin that we found in Paris)

2. Learn more about the different wine regions in the world (by experimentation and buying varieties that we wouldn’t ordinarily buy)

After just returning from a week in Paris and feeling a little overwhelmed by the language barrier, we want to learn to speak French so that when we return we can get more out of our next visit.
