In my Color and Design class, our final project is to paint our face in the style of a Chuck Close painting, where we grid out a large canvas and paint a series of circles and dots in each square with different colors. And the result should look like our face.
If you love art…don’t settle for a more “practical” major in college. Do what you want to do. And you can find a way of making art practical because the Visual Arts are everywhere.
