I’m doing everything I can. A lot more than I was doing a year or two ago, so I consider this significant progress. I’m starting to recognize and avoid self-destructive behaviors and put my emotional healthiness first.

How I did it: I put all my music into iTunes, then let it rebuild my library and organize it the way it wants to. Once you verify that you have copies of all your original files in the Apple folder organization, you can delete your originals. Voila. Insta-organization! Read how I did it…
...for the time being, that is. Maybe saying I’ve “done this” will motivate me to make this a permanent thing. Being drunk and high is when this is the hardest.
ETA on December 12: I wrote this on April 18 and fondly remember the days when this was true. It is no longer, but I still have maintained my weight at least. I definitely need to work on this, probably sometime after the holidays. It was so nice to not obsess over food. Not binging means I am succeeding at escaping the fat girl mentality, but after so long of dieting it’s hard to deprive yourself constantly. Just ten more pounds. You know what they say about the last ten pounds, ugh.
I think this is important for a lot of people, but they don’t realize how valuable it can be. “Oh, I can talk to my friends!” Totally different spheres, and one is wholly inadequate in truly helping you to discover why you do the things you do.
