..and I love it! I own a 12×18 Wacom Intuos tablet (i got it on eBay for $107) I’ve made so much art with it, it’s incredible. I remember at first it was hard to get used to, but after a day of just messing around I got the hang of it, and now painting, making vectors and manipulating photos is a million times easier.
Although I definately encourage learning to use a mouse first… I created loads of art with just a crappy mouse and no mouse pad, and it really helped me learn tons of tricks and shortcuts that really come in handy with my love tablet.
rock on. :9

I’ve done this! I learned all about the modes of my camera over a year ago, and I love it. Taking pictures is so wonderful when you have so much control over what you’re doing.
If anyone is interested, I wrote a little tutorial on taking stock photos and using different camera modes (so of it is a lot more stock based, but you can just read about the modes and stuff)

I’m donotattempt and attemptestock on dA. I’ve had two DDs on my stock account (attemptestock) and one on my main account (donotattempt). It’s been really great, and I’ve been really excited and suprised everytime. The comments and favs are overwhelming (and tiring to answer!), but it’s such a great thing to get. =D
My advice is that you don’t just post stuff in hopes of getting a DD and hundreds of favs and comments, just post because you love making art and want the world to see.
