How I did it: By using a combination of curbing my compulsive spending (when upset or in pain), and being a little more thrifty, I was able to put away a little from each salary payment. I was frustrated a few times when large bills ate my entire salary, but the continuing interest on my savings account helped. Having a savings buffer, I now feel much less stressed, worried and more secure. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Using the dictation software was difficult - it is more difficult to write by speech, than by typing! It's also impossible to edit using dictation software, and took me far to long to get this completed. How I did it: Over the course of several months, I increased the length of the walks I took. Dealing with several chronic illnesses gave me extra challenges, and I had to recover gently from a few injuries, blisters and a nasty virus or three. But, I managed it. After *almost* reaching 25km, without too much pain, I took the long way home from a friends, and smashed this goal - 40km! Read how I did it…
