Past the plateau 6 days ago
I’ve finally got under the several month long plateau, and made it into the 80s. I wasn’t able to do the 50km walk as I didn’t receive my new insoles in time to break them in. But have signed up for a 15km run/walk in late November. Am training more often and harder now, and controlling my food a little more strictly, so hopefully the weight will drop a little faster!

Unprepared 1 week ago
The JLPT exam is only three weeks away and I feel completely unprepared. Illness and work conspired to stop me studying and attending classes. Even now, when I am only studying (and not working), have too much else on to be able to focus on studying – running around after appointments, doing loads of paperwork for my JET application and TESOL course.
If only the exam could be held after my trip to Japan in January!
でももちろん、がんばりますね…

Complete a TESOL course (read all 4 entries…)
Halfway 1 week ago
The foundation module is huge, and I’m only a few units from completing that module. The electives seem to be much shorter (thankfully), so I should be finished in another couple of months!
After a few years, I finally feel like the end is in sight!
