I started to get interested in how and who runs my little Island at university and dabbled in talking to MP’s about issues which are important to students. My biggest insiration in doing this has been Richard who believes in politics whole heartedly and really wants to make a difference by playing the system rather than fighting it. Now I am in the “real world” I want to get involved, and understand the system and see if I too can dosomething about the things i dont think are right.
Broken down this means:
Know and understand the issues that move, motivate and affect me.
Know who has the ability and how they can change these things.
Do something myself.
