Lose 20 pounds
This is worth doing.

so I’m going to do it again. I weighed 175-180 pounds (at 5’6”) for most of my high school existence. My sophomore year of college, I decided not to put up with it anymore and set about losing poundage. I went vegan (mostly). I ate two huge salads a day, varying the fruits and veggies in them (but always tried to have some more calorically-inclined ones, like mangoes, avocadoes, etc.). When I couldn’t do that, I usually grabbed a lettuce wrap of a veggie sub sandwich (they call it an unwich at Jimmy John’s, a sandwich place in Illinois that I went to), stuffed with lettuce, tomatoes, bean sprouts, etc, but also avocado topping. I ate and ate until I was full. Which takes a damn while with veggies. I took whole fruits with me on the go, I bought two large cans of raw peanuts.

So I want to do it again. But this time I want to do it better. I’m going to eat more beans and legumes to get the protein and more of the calories I need. I might eat break my vegan diet to eat egg whites. I’m not sure yet. It’s still in the planning stages. Ideally, this will start in the next week. But it’ll involve being more present in my life. Living with conscious intention instead of slouching my way through it. And I’ve made that my default for a while, due to some psychological hangups.

Planning on getting my bike spokes redone. Now that spring is upon us (I hate hate hate the cold), it looks as though bike riding is the order of the day.

We’ll see how it goes!

Read "A People's History of the United States"
yay!

I love this book. The only problems result when it gets slightly wordy, but I can deal with that. Love it, can’t wait to get through it.

start a revolution
Well, there's 451 of us...

...I think it’s about time, hmm?
Before the book-burnings begin.
