How I did it
How I did it: Cold turkey. It took at least two dozens tries over a 6 year period. It just finally became a mind over matter thing. I started dating a non-smoker and hated going outside alone every time I wanted one. I naturally started smoking less until I was at a point that I could just finally quit. Read how I did it…

I am on day 6 without a cigarette. My lungs are starting to hurt (which means they are trying to heal) and my mood has improved from 5 days go. I tell my friends that I have quit smoking and I’m trying not to start back up instead of saying I am trying to quit. Small difference I know, but I could use all the positive reinforcement possible.
