My qualifications for visiting a state involve having actually spent more than an airport layover in it (therefore, though I have had many a layover in Texas, I’ve never left the airport and do not include it on my visited states list).
So far, I have made it to:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Wyoming.
I did it in public for the first time at some tiki-themed place in Portland, Oregon. I sang “Shoop” by Salt n Pepa. It was amazing.
