I had studied a little french in school, when I was younger but didn’t actually know any french when my girlfriend brought me with her to aix-en-provence last semester to study. I was amazed by how much your can learn in one semester. I really came to love france as well (having it rain approximately two days in four motnhs helped). When I went to paris this summer I felt pretty confident with the language and now I really long to get back, particularly to somewhere in the LubĂ©ron (read Peter Mayle if you don’t know about Luberon.
Now I can definitely say i’ve done this. I’ve taken three more classes (meaning 18 lessons) and although it’s very easy to forget all the steps when you haven’t practiced for a while (like now, in summer) i feel rather confident about it now.
