My hair color is natural golden blonde, but I had dark roots. It looked really trashy so several months ago I used box color from the drug store to dye it a medium brown. After about two weeks it would fade to a lighter and lighter brown but my dark roots never came back!

I did this twice with box color and about 2 months ago dyed it a dark brown at a salon. Now it’s starting to fade and is already at medium brown. Since my roots aren’t coming back in I think its possible to go back to blonde. But instead of blonde I want to bleach it to white.

I would like to know the most effective and safestest way to do this. I know that its not good for my hair, and I should mention that my hair is naturally curly as well as very dry, and brittle.

I think what I’ll do is just to buy ManicPanic flashlighting thing, and dye my hair white using their dye.
next is to find out if my mom will even let me do this….

ok so i bleached it and used a toner annnnddd its still a bit yellow. its kind of upsetting but i really really like this color!!
i think i might use manic panic virgin snow still, as toner.
BUT FOR NOW- CONDITIONER IS MUCH NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!
