i’m doing this. i made a giant spreadsheet in excel with all the books i can ever remember reading, so it’s pretty easy to maintain by adding new ones i’ve just finished. i’m trying to copy this list to librarything.com, but it’s taking a while.

How I did it: I made a giant spreadsheet in excel and just added each book, along with its author and the date I finished it, as I went along. I also had categories for tags, whether it was written by a man or woman, whether it was fiction or non-fiction, how I heard about the book, and whether or not I own it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Lots of squares of different stitches, both crochet and knitting. I worked on it for about a year on and off, usually in front of the TV or conversing with others. I attached all the squares together and ta-da. Blankets are technically easy but they just take a long time and a lot of yarn. Read how I did it…
i passed the knowledge test on my second try a week ago and now have a permit. next step: driving test for the license.
I moved to the US a few weeks ago so now I want to get a license here. I don’t want the car to be my usual form of transportation though, but I’m sure it’ll come in handy. So basically I need to study the DMV booklet and memorize all the rules.
