I don’t consider myself an especially happy person. I can be jolly and all that, but I don’t usually feel especially fulfilled with my life. I don’t know if a new career will help. Or maybe I just need to realize I’ll never be able to make money doing what I’d actually enjoy doing, so I’d better find some other aspect(s) of my life to use to make me feel happy. I don’t know. I just know that it’d be nice.

I used to really be into astronomy. I’d read every book I could find on the subject. A lot of them were over my head because of the math and science involved. But I still enjoyed it. The night sky is filled with beauty and I wanted to see all of it. But I let myself get frustrated by all the science and the math and my poor eyesight at the time and the poor equipment I chose. Even if I don’t ever understand the science, I’d like to at least get back into gazing at the stars regularly. It’d be a shame to miss out.
I’ve only been out of the country one or two times. To Canada. Which isn’t saying much, since I went to Canada in a car and it took only a few hours to get there from where I was at the time. There are MANY places I want to go, so I don’t really care which of them I go to. I just want to go to at least one of them.
