I just completed another book, the name of it is One Flash of Lightning, by Stephanie JT Russell, its a book about Samurai philosophy and how to live in the moment. Even though this is a short book, I found the information packed inside to be very insightful, and full of great ideas and philosophies. Anyone involved in the martial arts will find this to be a very good read.

I have no idea why just doing something when I know I should is so hard, I always wait to the last minute to do everything. Its getting old, but its a hard habit to break. I have been trying to keep a list of things I should do for the day, and trying to actually do them, it seems to be helping, but there are always those lazy days…
I recently bought a book entitled “A year in Japan” by Kate T. Williamson, and it has really got me excited to try my hand in watercolors. I have no painting experience what so ever, so I don’t have really high expectations for my results, but the most important thing to me is to try! I have bought a small watercolor kit, so my journey is about to begin. If any of my paintings turn out to be presentable, I will post them on here. Good luck to everyone else! noahsan
