I specifically want to make a bright orange and blue afghan. My friend Angela wants to decorate her spare room in Boise State colors, so I need to find the right yarn. However, this is roving to be more difficult than I had expected. I’ve been to Michael’s, JoAnne’s Fabrics, Craft Warehouse, Fred Meyer’s – I even went to Walmart of all godforsaken places!!! I guess I’m going to have to order it online. There must be someplace that carries hideous school colors.

but it is hard because I am staying with my parents right now. They refuse to recycle. However, I have recently bought reusable shopping bags (and I think I have my mom on board with this one). I have a lunch bag so that I don’t have to use paper or plastic bags and a reusable water bottle. I am also trying to cut down on my shower time. So much more to do, but I am giving it a shot.
