I feel it’s pretty obvious how the world collectively begins to evolve. It all starts with the seed. That seed is within. How can you logically embrace the world when we as a collective world population have such a difficult time embracing ourselves?
This is how it works, and you can’t get around it. It starts from within. When one learns and is aware of their true essence from within, everything flows outwardly, meaning at that point then one is also able to fully and honestly embrace others.
Buddha, Christ, Mohammad, as well as countless others all say that when you hurt someone, you are in fact the first victim of your hurtful act. Likewise, when you have a loving, compassionate and giving heart, again, it all begins with you and radiates to others.
World change is automatic when one is changed from within. As an analogy think of the drop of water in the pond, which eventually builds momentum and turns into a wake.
Another thing that would be wise to do is stop placing so many labels on this or that. “His”, “hers”, “there’s”, “ours” and especially “mine”. And what about, “Blacks”, “Asians”,”Whites” “Natives” or “Buddhists”, “Christians” or “Muslims”. When you turn on the news about current events in Africa and the Middle East and you see pools of blood in the streets what color is that blood again?
The reality is (and science backs this up) we are in fact one. That’s not a figure of speech. We are all the same energy and it doesn’t stop at just human beings. All life is literally one energy and it’s connected to the entire Universe.
So again, when you hurt someone, you literally hurt yourself. When you love someone, you love yourself. “Karma”, which in English simply means “cause and effect”. (think kinetic energy)
Each moment, each second of reality is an opportunity to become aware of these realities. But this must be done from within if it’s to be most effective.
The reality is that the “door” or “window” never ever closed. It’s ALWAYS open. What closed was our ability to stay with that realization.
So when you’re overwhelmed with the question of how to effect change in the world, remember, you are the drop of water in the entire pool of all life.
