How I did it: Eeeverything failed, but I guess the guests had fun? Our cake was a disaster but it was delicious (or so the guests said..), the monster-part of the cake lost its head (:D) before the guests arrived and we didn't get to play enough but. We had fun, right? Read how I did it…

When I first took this goal, I didn’t really think about the issue. Surely, organic tastes better and usually is slightly better to the environment, but there are more bigger issues to tackle first.
Because,
1) organic doesn’t mean fair trade or “fair” in anyway.
2) organic doesn’t mean it’s locally produced (way more important)
3) organic doesn’t mean it’s in an environmental-friendly package (less material & less plastic is better)
So in 2009, I try to eat more locally-produced food, that is, food made in Finland. However, I’m going to look for the most environmentally-friendly options: for example, tomatoes procuded in Finland during the winter are greenhouse-grown.. and of course, that’s not the greatest option!
I also try to avoid over-packaged foods and try even to make a blacklist of sorts to inform other (mostly Finnish) people of ridiculosly over-packaged foods.
:) I hope I can achieve this goal!
