How I did it: I had bleached my own section of my hair to the texture of hay, in an attempt to have a psychobilly platinum streak...it didn't quite work out to say the least. I was left with a brassy mess of hair that fell out in the shower and fizzed straight when dry. I tried to dye it red later on to mask the damage, which only helped so much. Now I have it dyed back to my original raven feather blue-black, and I am so much happier with it! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I set up an appointment, despite my own reluctance and fear of the results. It took me some time and effort to actually get an appointment, which normally would have given me an excuse to just give up, but this time i did not. I had to take my health into my own hands and know for sure that I was clean. The results came sooner than I expected, all clean, and I felt so relieved and proud of myself! Read how I did it…

Fully equipped with the knowledge that exercise is very important for my body and my mental health, I have decided to take the plunge and do an activity I already love but with a regimented schedule. I am not one to follow any sort of routine (especially if it gets in the way of my sedentary, Tumblr-filled lifestyle) but fuck… it is’good times for a change’. SO, the rule is that I must hula hoop for 30 minutes every day for the month of April. It need not be 30 minutes straight, I can break it up into manageable chunks throughout the day. But be warned, lazy self: any skipped days will result in ‘rollover’, where I must add the un-hooped minutes to another day’s work out. I won’t punish myself for missing or skimping on my workout—I will simply do what needed to be done without fussing. I have already started today, on my last day of March. I hooped for an hour yesterday, to ease into my goal and prove to myself that I can keep this up.
Let's get hooping!
