Singing karaoke was definitely worth it. I just had to let go and loosen up and not care how I sounded. It’s great because everyone is really supportive and nobody cares how you sound. I didn’t think I did a very great job, but not a bad job either. Even so, people told me I was awesome. I sang “Dreaming” by Blondie, and one guy came up to me and said, “Debbie Harry! I mean, wait, what’s your name?” Karaoke is supposed to be fun, not scary. When you don’t care how you sound, it’s a really great experience!

Jamaica is just like any other beach you could go to- except the whole country is in poverty. There is lots of crime. Also, when I went the beaches were so filled with jellyfish you couldn’t even get in the water. I got stung!
