I know this entry sounds like something out of a cheesy movie but you know what? It also sounds really fun. Unfortunately Indiana weather does not really give a lot of play in the rain days where you won’t catch pneumonia.

How I did it: I think being happy and successful cannot always be measured by how much money you make or by the material objects you have. I have found my place in life. My calling is to be a mother. I might not be making a difference in the world but my son might. I have a wonderful husband, a beautiful healthy baby boy and a great extended family. We might not have a lot of money but we can pay our bills and take care of our son. To me that is e… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Obviosly it's not a hard thing to accomplish because people have babies everyday. But for me the circumstances were a little different. I'm only 22 but when I was 15 doctors told me I probably wouldn't be able to have children. It was heartbreaking. I love kids, my niece and nephews have been spoiled by me for years. So last year when I found out I was pregnant I was in total shock. I was so happy but also scared. You never know what kind… Read how I did it…
How I did it: My husband (then boyfriend) and I had just had a huge fight, and made up. We were in one of those "lovey stages" and he said that we should go get tatoos. I had always told him that I wanted one, and he already had one so I said Ok. We went but I was so nervous I didn't think that I could go through with it. He made me go first so that I couldn't chicken out. I asked the tattoo artist if he could show me how it would feel. He didn't put a… Read how I did it…

In my opinion I Think that I have accomplished this goal. How do you know you are being more confident? I have done so many new things this year that it is almost immpossible not to be more confident. I still have body image issues but I think that is just being a woman today. In the last year I have gotten married, gotten a tattoo, moved to a new town, and I even had lunch on my own (it’s harder than it sounds). I’m sure that I still have some ways to go but I feel I have come a long way in the last 12 months.
It was an awesome experience, I will probably not ever get another one. I got a little daisy on my shoulder blade. Just so everyone knows I am a big baby and I didn’t think it hurt that bad (it is nerve racking though) Just be sure its something that you want on your body for the rest of your life. I will probably never get another one, but at least I can say I did it and I don’t regret it (ask me when I am 50)
