A few years ago my best friend’s mother was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I don’t usually believe in the power of prayer, but this woman has a stronger faith than anyone I have ever met in my life. After a few months of prayer, the doctor informed her that she was completely better. Who am I to argue with results like that?

I used to be a really bad cutter. I have recently stopped and I don’t think I ever want to start doing it again. It takes a lot more strength to face your problems.

I moved from South Carolina to Indiana a little over a year ago. I saw my first real snow 3 days after I moved. It was probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It was also the coldest I have ever been. :D

You never know! You may completely turn someone’s day around just by doing something as small as smiling and acknowledgeing that they are there.

It’s hard to do most days, but if you can manage it, you really are a good person.

I’ve started collecting all the movies and books I loved as a child. I think it is one of the best ways to remember to let go and relax. Never forget who you are, were, or where you came from.

My mom has been telling me for years that I suffer from the Peter Pan Syndrome. I don’t see that as a bad thing. Granted, I am 26 and I’m just now starting to take care of myself without help, but I think I had to learn that there was a difference between being responsible and being young at heart. As long as you have your priorities straight, what’s the big deal?

I live under the belief that you should never have any regrets. I live by this everyday, and I truely believe that if I hadn’t gone thru some of the things I have, I wouldn’t be the person I am now. Why regret something when it can make you a better and stronger person?
