i am currently working on a new website to display my recent design portfolio. i am hand coding it and find it much more controllable, in addition to allowing me to get exactly what i want. also, development time is quite comparable.

i am excited for this framework that i am developing to display my work because it is very to the point, easy to use and easy to update.

it will be finished before this coming semester starts; in only one weeks time.

i am transferring the majority of my thing accomplishing to a new 43things account: ryan the wired

it is an attempt to separate my personal goals from my design and creative specific goals. i am also looking for a fresh start after some tough and stagnant times, with a new, and optimistic endeavor.

she’s now gone back to japan. yet, i never successfully conversed with her. i feel i could have easily tried harder and should have for my sake and hers.

it really must be difficult to live in another country for a short period of time, having only rudimentary language skills and no native support structure.

although, this not necessarily the end of the story. i remain friends with her on facebook and her home school is the college that i may study at next year; she would make a wonderful acquaintance.
